Paint Correction services can help restore the showroom finish in your vehicles paint.

Nothing defines a vehicle like the depth, clarity, and glow of a truly refined finish. Achieving that level of perfection isn’t accidental... it’s the result of experience, precision, and restraint.

Paint correction is a meticulous, labor-intensive process that uses advanced machine polishing and refined abrasives to level the clear coat at a microscopic level. By safely removing minor imperfections, we restore clarity, depth, and reflection without compromising the integrity of the paint.

This level of work demands more than tools... it requires trained hands, trained eyes, and discipline. Proper paint correction is a technical art mastered by few. At AutoWorks Detailing, we continuously invest in the latest techniques, training, and professional-grade equipment to ensure every vehicle receives the highest standard of execution.

We don’t rush the process. We perfect it.

Why Paint Correction Matters Before Protection

Paint correction or paint polishing is not a mandatory step before installing ceramic coatings or paint protection film (PPF). However, most vehicles, including brand-new cars, have some degree of paint imperfection.

These imperfections may be subtle or difficult to see, but once a coating or film is applied, they become locked in and often appear more noticeable. Protection enhances whatever is already present, both the good and the bad.

Many owners are surprised to learn that new vehicles commonly arrive with paint defects. These can occur during transportation, from environmental exposure, overspray, or even routine washing at the dealership, which can introduce light scratching or marring.

For this reason, most vehicles benefit from at least a single-stage paint correction prior to the installation of PPF or ceramic coatings. During this process, our correction specialists use professional-grade compounds with refined, diminishing abrasives to safely remove approximately 70–90% of paint defects, restoring clarity, gloss, and depth before protection is applied.
